DCCpro BIG-IP Advanced Topics Hands-on Workshop
A custom-tailored trainings for using, configuring and administering F5 Networks’ BIG-IP platforms.
The DCCpro BIG-IP Advanced Topics hands-on workshop is a practical 5-day training course for BIG-IP Advanced Topics, covering BIG-IP LTM, ASM and APM modules.
The training goes through the introduction to F5 BIG-IP micro kernel TMOS, it’s functionality and usability using the TMSH shell.
The LTM part of the advanced training takes a deeper look at different loadbalancing algorithms with best practices and use cases. Advanced virtual server configurations, such as routing with forwarding virtual servers are also covered.
The ASM part focuses on maintaining and enhancing existing ASM security policies. Topics, such as how to identify false positives and how to mitigate attacks will be discussed during the training with example exercises to complement the training.
Advanced user authentication and access control, such as leveraging APM as an SAML Identity Provider, are covered during the APM part of the training.
To complete the previous topics and the training, the course also takes a deep dive into using iRule scripts for the benefit of your application.
The course consist of a short theory part explaining terminology and usage, but the main part of the course is hands-on lab exercises of real life configurations. The workshop can be tailored as per client needs.
