We help you to tailor your BIG-IP platform to suit your needs with iRules.

With iRules you can achieve functionally, which usually requires hardcoding in the the actual application, with ease. iRules can vary in complexity and functionality from simple redirects to complex authentication mechanisms such as MobileID.
iRule scripting is based on TCL (Tool Command Language) and are translated to be part of the BIG-IP’s micro kernel, TMOS, to achieve maximum efficiency. The scripting is event based, so that the rule is executed only when a certain event happens, for example a HTTP request is received. iRule scripting follows the basic concepts of other scripting and coding languages with the usage of session based and global variables as well as typical control structures such as if, else clauses.
